Creating temporary assemblies
- [Narrator] Let's create a custom or temporary assembly. Go to the takeoff dropdown, temporary assemblies. Pick the first empty one. Let's see if we can make a speaker. Sound and PA. Okay. Sound speaker, maybe a back box for the speaker, and a grille. So all three of these items will be together. You'll have a speaker with a back box and a grille. How 'about some cable? Do we have some cable that could be speaker wire? Audio, data, and communication cable. Sure. Number 16 PVC. That'll be fine. Number 16, one pair twisted cable. Sure. So for each of these, there'll be a certain amount. I'm going to put it as a count for now, 'cause I want this be a count-based takeoff. And wire connectors and scotchlock. Put a couple of those in. All right, now that I have most of the items in this assembly, I'm going to quantify them. For each one of these, sound speaker, I'll call it assembly, I'll have one speaker, one back box, one grille. Let's say I'll have 150 feet of cable and two wire nuts…
