- [Instructor] Let's take a look at labor factors. Click on the labor factoring tab down below. And another screen opens that are similar to the other labor tabs. Factors are multiples of labor. In this case, we're taking your direct labor and multiplying it by certain aspects that may change how quickly you do things. A good example would be multi-story impact. If you're working on a project that has multiple stories and your crew has to go up and down the outside of the building or the inside of the building, whichever it is, it may slow down the installation a little bit. You have to get material up there. You've got to get the crew and tools up there. Therefore, I can go to multi-story impact and add whatever my experience tells me it's going to be.
