Labor units: UOM basis

Labor units: UOM basis

- [Narrator] Next, we will extend our labor items that use units of measure. Just like before, when extending the pricing, we'll have to do some multiplication and some division. For example, back to the half-inch conduit. 175 feet of half-inch conduit at 4.5 hours per C, which is 100, would be calculated 175 times 4.5 divided by 100 equals 7.88 hours. Now, to the #12 wire. 450 feet of #12 THHN wire at 6 hours per M, which is 1000, would be calculated 450 times 6 divided by 1000, which equals 2.7 hours. Let's fill these in on the take-off sheet. I have a few more down here. The cable tray, 386 feet at 19.25 per hundred, 74.30 hours. The Mylar caution tape, 120 feet at 1.2 hours per 1000. Go ahead, do the math. You'll see it comes out to 1.4 hours.
