Multiply material prices: Per each basis

- [Instructor] First thing's first, we should multiply all of the material prices into the material extension column. Be sure to have your calculator handy. It should look something like this. We're going to start with the per each unit of measure, anything that's easily multiplied out. Here I've got seven raceway drops at $38 and 10 cents each. That should be pretty easy. Seven times 38 10 equals 2667. Perfect. I'm going to skip down to anything else that has a unit of measure of each or E or E A C H, which are all used equally, interchangeably. Here we have five interior door assemblies. Five of them times $465 equals $2325. Open my column up. Here's an item, the VCT tile. It's prices per square foot, but we already have a square foot measurement, so that's pretty much the same as an each measurement. I've got 120 square feet times $1.50 each. That comes out to $180. That's how you calculate individual each or single unit of measurement extensions.
