- Now that we've created a change order and modified the reports a little bit, let's send that change order to our customer. Select the change order and open it up, the easiest way to do this is to hit the email icon up above Before I do that though, I'm gonna do a quick print preview. I always do that to make sure I'm sending the right format. Here's the change notice. I'll zoom in a little bit. Everything at the top looks pretty good, I have the clients address, our address, the right reference numbers. Scroll down a little bit. I didn't really type in a work description but we could have done that on the notes page. Here though, in the itemized breakdown, I see a lot of columns.
