- [Narrator] If your on iOS, then you'll download Illustrator Draw from the app store and similarly the google play store, if you're on android. If you search for Illustrator Draw and just make sure that the vendor is Adobe Systems Incorporated, then you can download that, and what you'll need to then do is sign in, which is really easy if you've got an Adobe ID, which you can also generate as well if you want one, and there are a couple of social login options if you just want to try the app out. And this is what it will look like on first launch, something like this, of course no documents here at the moment. And you've got some options along the bottom of the screen, so you've got the community gallery where you can go for different bits of inspiration, to see what people are making in the app. And then the settings on the right hand side. And this is where you look at things like your account, find out some more information about draw, and then the basic preferences, one of which I've already turned on the show touches thing here so that you can actually see where I'm tapping when I'm in the app, and as you can see just now if I tap a few times there, you've got a few other things besides about following the team, and importing files from Adobe Ideas if you've used that, although the number of people doing that of course declining because it's been gone quite a while, and you can find out some basic things about the application. There's a couple of built in tutorials there that you may want to watch they won't do any harm, they won't conflict with what your watching here, but you will just get more details from here, but please watch them if you do want to. So if you go to the work area here, what were going to do is were going to create a new document right now that we can do a little bit of work with. Now it might help you to know that I'm using two iPads here at the moment this is the second generation iPad Pro, and later on I will be using the third generation iPad Pro, with a stylus and that's something you might want to look at because you can only go so far drawing with your finger. Here I'm using the Apple pencil, the first and the second generation Apple pencils, but there are lots of other styluses for other tablet devices available. The iPad Pro only recognizes the Apple pencil, and it is a great drawing experience, but do have a look and some of those you will have to pair, but they come with full instructions. So if we tap for a document here, let's just choose something simple like small postcard, then this will open out and then we can take at look at the interface in the next movie.
