Understanding the mobile ecosystem

- [Instructor] Creative Cloud is an ecosystem, and you could think of it almost like a planet with an atmosphere made of assets existing as files and library items. Around that atmosphere, there would be a satellite array of desktop and mobile applications that can use the assets which are appropriate for them. Using Capture as an example, as the capabilities of the other applications vary and Capture was, after all, designed specifically to create assets for Creative Cloud, an asset could be created that would be stored in a library or saved as a file and synchronized by Creative Cloud that could then be used in other applications if it was appropriate for them. In this course, we'll be working inside of part of that ecosystem. And if you have access to them, there are files that can be used, although you could use anything of your own if you want to. What you'll need to do first in a desktop browser is to download the exercise files if you can, and they will arrive as a zip file that you can expand and then take that folder and add it to your own Creative Cloud folder so you can access it from the apps. If you want to, you can rename it, and that's perfectly okay. As long as you know what the name is, you'll know where to go to get exactly the same assets that I'm using throughout the course.
