- [Instructor] The accordion pattern reveals content through progressive disclosure. The selected panel exposes content hidden from view. The accordion pattern works well for situations where you have a lot of content to display and you don't want to show it all at once. This could be a good pattern to utilize if you have limited space and the information can be categorized into discreet areas. One of the questions to ask yourself when using this pattern, is whether or not, the hidden content should be hidden by default. There should be some thought put into why you're hiding content and what content you're choosing to show by default. Since the user has to take an extra action to open the panel, we don't want to hide content they might find useful at the outset. The accordion pattern has a couple of different interaction variations. Panels can be opened simultaneously or they can open one at a time.…
