- [Tutor] Cards are a design pattern that work best for information summaries or for browsing behaviors. They can be interactive. For example, expanding on hover. Cards don't work as well for situations where most information is needed at a glance or if you're searching for something. Cards group and display information and lend themselves to a mobile-friendly experience. They can be clickable and have a selected state or have a call to action. The basic structure of a card is to display information. This can include images, text, or both. Cards typically have an image or some type of media to increase visual appeal and engagement. The first thing I want to do is create some card layouts for the different types of content. I've created layouts for images, events, student spotlights, media, and text-based content.
