Choosing colors for the project

- [Instructor] There are two things you should really work out at the beginning of a design. The first of them is probably colors, although type could equally be considered to be first, depending on how you look at it. But what we'll do here is create some colors. Now, I'm just going to come down to the bottom of the interface on the left here because I've got my layers panel open. If you've got any of these three panels open, then you might just want to click on them just to get rid of them for the time being. If you tap R on your keyboard, that selects the rectangle tool here and you can just come out onto this art board and draw a rectangle like so. And some of the interface now wakes up and you can see perhaps what I mean by it being contextual. So here, in this area, it says whether or not an object has or doesn't have a fill or a border.
