Creating overlays
- [Instructor] The next step in prototyping is actually creating a search interaction. So what I want to happen is when you click on this magnifying glass it should overlay really large, just a search field and then a button. The thing is is I actually want to do this on every single screen. So what do you do? Do you just like take this screen and duplicate it? And then create the graphic over it and you have to do that each time. Well, actually no, the answer is no, it's much easier than that, in fact. What you can have is you can have an artboard called search like I'm doing right now. And if we take a look at this, what I wanna do is just create what I wanna create with some nice curved icons we'll make this kind of large and just easy to see is the idea. There's my search field with a quick button right over here. But basically I can design what I want because I can implement this actually as an overlay, which is really great to be able to do. So let's increase that to about 10…
