- [Instructor] This chapter outlined a work flow that I refer to as Brains On, rather than hands-on. As you may have gathered, there's a lot of non-design work that goes on before the team grapples with the inevitable question, what's it look like? If you're not involved in this process, I hope you've come to the realization that there is a lot of planning, thinking, and so on, that goes into the creative brief handed to you. If you were involved as a stakeholder and/or team member, you should now be completely aware of the people who will load the application or visit the website. You understand their motivations and why they are there. This intimate knowledge of the user will guide the design of the app in a positive manner. There's a deeper, more fundamental reason behind this process. There is inevitably a financial risk involved. And this process, if done properly will reduce that risk.
