- [Instructor] Now I'm ready to customize some of the basic settings. From the dashboard, I'm going to go to settings and we'll go to general. This is going to let us customize some of the basic top-level elements of our website. Here you can change the site title if you need to. You can also change the tagline. We don't want our tagline to be, "Just another WordPress site," so I'm going to change mine to, "Boards for free diving, spearfishing, and swamping." All of the other settings here look okay except for the timezone. I'm going to change the timezone. And you can modify the timezone to whatever you need to. I'm going to change mine to Los Angeles as I am in California. If necessary, you can modify the settings as to how the date is displayed but this looks okay for me. And you can also modify your time settings. In addition, you can choose when the week would start on for your particular website. And I'll leave mine…
