Useful XD resources

- [Demian] As you start your journey on design systems using Adobe XD, I'd llke to give you some references. First of all you can go to xd.adobe.com. This is our main place for XD information. You can see features, extensions, community information, information about business, learn, and support. You can also download XD. If you scroll here you can see information about specific functionality, you can see tips, testimonials from important customers. Then if you click here under Features, you can not only see an overview, but you can also see what's new. So one big process that we have with XD is that every month there's a new update and here you can see everything that's been released every month since we started this journey in 2015. If you're interested in plugins, this is a place for extensions. Here after you download XD you have access to close to 200 plugins that can power your process. You can also see some UI kits, and this is a very good resource. If you want to get started you have Apple Design UI kits, Material Design, UI kits from Microsoft, and a ton of UI kits from the community. So we have one, the first one is with Design Systems there, one if you're creating prototypes with voice, with the interface from Amazon Alexa. How to animate UI kits, wireframes, this is amazing, this is one that has a lot of wireframes there for you for pretty much every use case for mobile and web, dashboard, responsive resize, watch, and different use cases, e-commerce, all there for you. If you click on Community, this is a place where you can connect not only with the team, but with other designers working with XD. So we have a couple of livestreams that happen every week, one with challenges that can speed up your process, where you can learn and get feedback as you go through the process, another one showing how XD's being designed, a lot of great resources there. We also have events. If you go under Business, this is where I want to take you first. So you can click here in Design Systems, and this is one of the main resources I'd like to recommend. Here you can see points of view on design systems. But most important you have access to this book. You can download it for free, and I already downloaded it here. And this is a very useful book, that gives you a lot of information on design systems from a lot of different companies and professionals, really focused on the challenge of design systems. I highly recommend you getting this eBook. And then back here the other resource is Learn. This is a very useful website with tips on how to do stuff in XD, very specific use cases like repeat grids, and how you can import different files, how you can do prototypes, but because we're talking about design systems, there's one here called DESIGN SYSTEMS. And this is really targeted, it shows all the functionality targeting your use cases on design systems, how you can use the Assets Panel, how you can play and override everything, how you can bring data to your designs, how you can present, it's very, very useful in terms of design systems. Another resource I'd like to recommend is Twitter. So you can follow us @AdobeXD there on Twitter, and this is a place where we share a lot of information about everything related to XD. We also have a blog, theblog.adobe.com/creative-cloud/xd. And this is a place not only with Adobe content but also from great authors, great designers, great people behind design systems. If you're interested in building plugins for XD this is a website for you, adobexdplatform.com. Here you have information about how to do plugins, a lot of examples and files to get you started. And the last thing, my Twitter there if you want to follow me and ask questions, I'll be more than happy to answer you. And one quick tip, every time you use #AdobeXD, on a question here on Twitter, the entire XD team sees it, and chances are someone will reply pretty quickly. So that's it, now let's use some UI kits to start your process.
