- [Instructor] In order to get the most out of this course, you should've watched my Prototyping a WordPress Project in Adobe XD. In this course I go through the initial UX process and build out the prototype and accompanying materials for the BankBoard website. We then take that prototype and use it hear as a guideline for the actual website that we will build using WordPress. We will be building the website using WordPress and several useful plugins. One of which is Elementor, a page builder plugin that makes sophisticated layouts a snap. If you don't know any code, you'll find this to really make it easy to have finite control over many of the page elements. And if you do know code, I think you'll be very impressed at the speed and proficiency in which you can create the various areas of the site. I will not be showing you every little granular feature and step. In many of the movies I show you techniques to create the various elements within the site, but I do not build out every single element with you. The reason why is many of the steps are repetitive, so I'll show you how I approach this portion and how to do it, and then I show you what my finished product looks like. My hope is that you will gain knowledge and confidence by doing what I show you. The purpose of this course is to share with you practical workflow and techniques. I want you to become more efficient with the tools and resources you already know and have. Remember, you can't break it. You can always undo or delete what you have done and start over again. Don't be afraid to try it. Only by doing will you get better, and learn how to accomplish these things.
