- [Instructor] Typography is one of the broader subjects in design, and there are a number of courses in the LinkedIn Learning catalog that focus on typography for the web and digital design. In this section, I'm going to explain a few typography basics, and then I'll show you how to use the Typography tool to create, manipulate, and save your text styles. Now, if your interface looks different from mine, I would encourage you to go back to the section on setting up your interface for UI design, and that'll show you how I customized this interface for just focusing on typography. Now there are three types of fonts that are used regularly in UI/UX design, Serif, San-Serif, and Mono fonts. Now, if we go ahead and zoom in over here, you'll see the difference between a Serif and a San-Serif font are these small lines or strokes that you'll find at the end of the Serif font, you will not see at the end of a San-Serif font.
