Creating gradients

- [Instructor] Gradients give UI and UX designers create a freedom. While flat color stifle design potential, a grading offers more creative possibilities. There's a number of gradient types. And I'd like to go through some of them with you. So in this particular layout, I have a simple login screen, and I want to add a gradient to the background. So to do that, I need to select the object which is the background color here, which is in blue, and click on the Fill tool. Once you click on the Fill tool, if you look up at the top, it says solid because we're using solid color right now, but we want to switch it to a gradient. So there are all these different gradient options. When you're doing UI and UX design, the most used ones would be the linear and the radial.
