Embedding your design

- [Instructor] Being able to embed a file within the document is a powerful tool. You can embed a SVG, a PDF, a PSD, an AI file, or an Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo file. In this video, I'll show you how to use the embed feature, then I'll show you how to edit an embedded file in real time, and lastly, I will demonstrate how to replace an embedded document with a new updated file. So let's start with embedding. I'm using one of the exercise files in the Chapter 3 folder, so just open that up and then open the embed file. Now, if you take a look at this file, you'll see that I have a layer called Embed Target. This is just a visual representation. You don't need to necessarily have a target. This is just to show you where I'd like to embed the file that I'm going to import.
