- [Instructor] Here's a simple montage featuring Buckingham Palace, to which I've added a Curves Adjustment to darken it, and a new sky. If you're serious about using Affinity Photo, there are some keyboard shortcuts you really need to learn. First, on any layer, if you have any of the non-painting tools selected, then you can type a number key to change the opacity of that layer. Typing five will give you 50%, one, 10%, and so on. If you think that 70% is too weak, but 80% is too strong, then you can type, say 7, 5 in quick succession to get 75%. Type zero twice to get zero percent, and zero once to bring it back to 100%. You can move any layer up and down by holding Command or Control, and using the square bracket keys. Left bracket key moves it down, right bracket key moves it up again.
