Tone mapping HDR images: Defaults
- [Instructor] To take our HDR image further, let's tap to enter the tone-mapping studio. It builds the map and already you can see a huge improvement. It's balancing all of those tones. We can see the view out of the window. We can see the depth in the piano keyboard. It's looking very much better. And in the Basics controls, you can see we have a whole range of controls that are very similar to those we get when we are processing raw images. Before we look at these though, let's have a look at some of the presets, and we get to them by tapping the Presets button. Here we can choose from natural, detailed, which gives that extra-real HDR image we're so used to seeing. We can go for a cool image, black and white, or a high-drama image. We can also tap the default button at the top to choose from a range of additional presets. Extreme will give us this kind of over-the-top HDR image.
