Using the Affine filter

- [Narrator] We've looked at how we can use the equations filter to duplicate copies of an image and make it larger and smaller. Well, we can do the same thing more easily using the affine filter. We'll go to filters, distort and affine. Here we can change the x and y scales and we can do this most easily by dragging on the slider. So we can make the x larger and smaller and we can make the y value larger and smaller as well. And there are several extend modes. On zero, it just leaves the area outside the distorted image alone. When we change it to full, it fills it with white. Repeat will repeat the edge pixels and drag those all the way off to the end. If we go for wrap, then it simply duplicates the image. And as we make that larger and smaller, you can see how it's duplicated throughout this image. The most interesting one here is mirror. And that reflects the image both in the x and the y coordinates. And that allows us to make a complex wallpaper at any size we want from any…
