Learn about setting enhancements in specific areas of the image
- [Voiceover] The church is looking good,…but that sky needs some attention.…We treat it separately from the church.…So let's zoom out a little.…And let's choose the Overlay Paint Tool.…We'll set a large brush size.…And when we paint over the area we want to select,…we see this red overlay,…and this shows the selected area.…
There's no need to be too accurate at this stage.…We can always refine it later using a smaller brush…or using the eraser to take out areas…we don't want included.…We'll tap to open the Basic Controls once more.…Let's scroll up and lower the exposure.…And as we drag, the red overlay disappears,…so we can see the changes that we're making.…These clouds are looking too dark,…so let's scroll down and boost the shadows…to brighten those up a little.…
We warmed up the whole image to make the church…look more sunlit,…but let's correct that for the sky,…by changing the temperature and the white balance…and dragging it a little way to the left…to make the sky appear more blue.…And we can use virtually all of our camera roll controls…
