- [Instructor] Here's the selection we made in the previous lesson, and let's look at some of the things we can do with this selection. We can use the further selection tool and drag on the radius to soften the edges of the selection. Let's now look at the grow and shrink selection tool. We don't have to arbitrarily type in the number and hope for the best. Instead, we can tap and hold on the radius button and drag to the right to increase that selection, and we can drag to the left to shrink it, and as we drag we see exactly the effect that we're getting. If we want more precise control, we can just tap on that radius button, and we could type in the value we want. I'm going to change it back to zero, and tap outside this dialogue to apply it. Let's look at the smooth selection tool. Once again, we tap and drag on the radius, and you can see how those edges are getting rounded off. For example, the hand selection is now smooth over those knuckles. This can be extremely useful. We can…
