About the exercise files

- [Instructor] The exercise files for this course include a series of assets that you can use to follow along with me during the course. I would also encourage you to use some of your own artwork, as well. When you unzip the assets, there will be a few main folders, chapter one, chapter two, and so on, that correspond to the chapters in the course. Each folder within the chapter folders will contain either artwork in JPEG, Photoshop, or Illustrator format, or a series of linked files and an After Effects file that you can start from. Now if you're familiar with After Effects, you can skip ahead to the next chapter. However, if you've never used After Effects before, the next few videos will give you a brief overview of After Effects. We'll explore the interface, how to setup a workspace, special import options for Photoshop files, and how to export artwork back to Photoshop, or as a JPEG, or an 8-bit transparent PNG file.
