About the third-party plugins used
- [Instructor] I used a host of different plugins and tools to create the visual effects of the assurance. Primarily, though, in this course, we'll use three different third party plugins, Trapcode Form by Red Giant Software, also Trapcode Particular, also in the same Trapcode suite and also by Red Giant Software, and Optical Flares by Video Copilot. I will occasionally reference some effects from the Red Giant Universe suite of plugins, such as Heat Wave, and I will also occasionally references other effects by Video Copilot, such as VC Color Vibrance, and Heat Distortion. And while they're not plugins for After Effects, I also did use Adobe Photoshop, Vue Xtreme, and Cinema 4D to accomplish some of the effects in this course. Although, if you have After Effects with the free Cinema 4D Lite that comes with it, you'll be able to follow along with almost everything except for the tutorial on creating particles in Cinema 4D. It's worth a reminder that almost all these plugins and software applications also provide free demos to use if you'd like to follow along with the training.
