- One of the best things to happen to my green screen workflow is the ability to record in 4K or even 5K. What's great about this is you have extra resolution and depending on your camera this may be a built-in option or you might need to use one of those external recorders. It will vary. In this case here, I'll jump in to the camera menu. And, right now, if I take a look at the file format you'll see I'm recording in 4K already. Let's go ahead and explore that option here. Now, in this case here, we have M Peg four, AVCHD and others. But I'll go with the 4K output here. And that's a good choice. Similarly, under record setting, you'll notice different choices here. 30 or 24P but very importantly 60 megabits or 100 megabits. I'm going to use the less compressed one which is simply, in this case, the bigger number. Now keep in mind there are a wide variety of 4K cameras on the market.
