- [Narrator] I used heat distortion all over the place in "The Assurance" throughout anytime there were almost any effects. You can really see here in this shot with Korda'a after GalHatan had risen there was fire down here, there was heat distortion down here, and then also on her hand, I put heat distortion on her hand to make it feel like the ball was more magical, and also in conjunction with the freckled noise layers on the outside of her hand. The heat distortion made it feel like her hand was in the ball a little bit, and that made the ball feel a little bit more intense and I just really love the way that that looks. Heat distortion saved me all over the place. It makes this area feel really intense because there's wavy heat distortion and makes the ball feel really intense cause there's wavy heat distortion in there, too. Even though that might not be heat necessarily, it feels like there's some kind of like plasma, energy, something, or whatever, so again, I used heat…
