Anchor points

- [Tutor] Rotations and anchor points are important aspects to the rigging process. As part of the rigging process, we define where the anchor point lives, and in turn, it tells where the body part can rotate. Deciding where these anchor points live on the body parts, will ultimately define how our character moves. Here in this example, I have my desk lady artwork. You can see she's comprised of several different layers, and if I hover over each one of these layers, you'll notice that we have a bounding box across each part. I'll zoom in here. And if I select the layer, you'll notice that the anchor point lives in the middle of that bounding box. and that's true for all these individual pieces of art that we imported in. This anchor point is our point of articulation. Whenever we engage our Rotate Tool, it's going to rotate that layer around this point.
