Anchor points

- [Instructor] Rotations and anchor points are important aspects to the rigging process. As part of the rigging process, it tells where the body part can rotate. will ultimately define how our character moves. you can see she's comprised of several different layers. And if I hover over each one of these layers, you'll notice that we have a bounding box across each part. in the middle of that bounding box, and that's true for all of these individual pieces of art that we import it in. This anchor point is our point of articulation. Whenever we engage our rotate tool, it's going to rotate that layer around this point, It doesn't make much sense to rotate around the middle of her hair. Let's undo this. So to fix it, we'll move that anchor point using this tool here, the anchor point tool, otherwise known as the Pan Behind tool. With that enabled, the top of her face here. And as I'm doing this whole process I'll toggle back and forth between the rotate tool and anchor point tool. So…
