Animating a mask with a null object

- [Instructor] Okay, in this movie, you're going to get to see how one of those fab null objects can help you with animation. It's because they have their own registration point that you can animate around rather than using the Pan Behind tool up here at the top to change the center point. In fact, if I click on the sign just here, you can see that just there. You'd normally use the Pan Behind tool to move that, but we don't want to do that. In fact, I'm just going to lock all of the other layers here that I'm not currently working with. So the sign that I have just here, I'm actually going to call that down, you know, and that's coming in a bit hot. So we're going to go to the Layer menu and choose Solid Settings. Then just dial down this color a bit. It's a bit, bit, bit strong on there. In fact, I think I might actually even go to a dark gray. That looks much better, perfect. Okay, so now I've got that. What I'm going to do is introduce a null. So if I go Layer, New, Null Object…
