Animating repeating shapes with CC Threads

- Some people make the mistake of assuming that you can't really create detailed animated textures, natively inside of After Effects. Often jumping directly into Photoshop or Illustrator. And honestly, I'm a big proponent of using the right tool for the job. But if you ever need to create a complex texture that looks like something woven, you should look at using the CC threads effect before jumping out of After Effects. In this video we'll use CC Threads to add a detailed texture to the inside of some type to really make it pop. If we look in our composition, you'll notice I have some text here. And if you don't have this type-faced, it is the font Museo, and I actually installed that font using the Assets in the Creative Cloud desktop application under Fonts. I went ahead and added fonts from typekit, and found Museo. So if you're not seeing that font, go to the Creative Cloud desktop application, and activate it. Okay.
