Animating a static design

- [Eran] Good animation starts with a good design. Now you may already know this, especially if you are coming from Photoshop, you may also heard that Photoshop and After Effects speaks the same language. Actually, it's even better than this, they are such good friends that every time After Effects calls Photoshop, or vice versa, there's always an answer on the other side. No voicemail, no busy line, no interference or bad connection, always professional, two-way online chat. All right, so enough with those metaphors, I'm sure you get it, but I'm here to show you how good it works. So, in this beginner course, I'll assume that you feel comfortable with Photoshop, but you're taking your first steps in After Effects, and this is why I'll show you how to create your first project. My promise is that one hour from now, assuming that you're going to watch this course continuously, you'll understand how After Effects works, and also gain enough knowledge to start using it and create some cool stuff. My name is Eran Stern, I'm a motion designer working with After Effects for more than 25 years, and still in love with it like the first time we've met. I invite you to join me through this short ride and learn how to create your first After Effects project.
