- If you're like me part of the reason you like creating graphics using any of the tools in the Adobe Creative Cloud it's because of the precision. Now personally I have poor cursive handwriting, but if I use the tools in Adobe Illustrator I can create beautifully refined, clean cursive writing. And with the Write-On effect I can animate the appearance of that type inside of After Effects. Let's check it out. Now before we start with the Write-On effect I actually wanna use Illustrator to capture the main path that we're actually going to be writing on, because Illustrator gives me the ability to refine these paths and create perfectly scripted type. So to start, instead of being in my After Effects project, I'm gonna go ahead and launch Adobe Illustrator. So in Illustrator I'll create a New file, and under the Video and Film Profile I'll choose the Size of DVCPRO HD 720, which is 1280 by 720, and I'll click OK.
