- Okay, in this movie, we're going to apply and create some materials for our geometry. We'll set the colors, we'll look at some reflection settings before jumping into the next movie where we'll start applying our lights. Now, the next two chapters, while they're in succession, in reality when you're working, rarely will you texture something and then move on to lighting it and then throw your hands up and say "Hey, we're done, it all looks great." This process is very much a back and forth process. What happens is you'll apply your materials and you'll say "Okay, maybe I want a 50% reflection," and then you start lighting your scene and say "Whoa, whoa, whoa, that's a way too much," or "That's a way too little," you'll go back, you'll adjust your materials, you'll go back, you'll render, you check your lighting, you go back and forth until you're happy with it.
