- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to transform our map background into something that's going to look a lot more like an overhead projection through the use of the application of textures. So to get started, what we'll do is look at our project panel and first thing, make sure you have the map composition open and you'll see that it's made up of my USA map and a background color. So I want to add a graphic in here to create the frame for the background, so I'll open the graphics folder and I'll open the frame layers folder and I'll drag the mask frame PSD to the top of my layer stack. So as you can see, this is the actual inside of the projector and not the outside, but that'll work perfectly fine. Let's go ahead and mask out our background color, so I'll grab my mask frame PSD and position it just above the background color layer and I'll toggle my switches and modes to make sure that I can see my track…
