- I can remember only too well when I first started using After Effects and I wanted to do some text animations just to liven up an otherwise very dreary intro that I was working on, the first one ever and I tried ever so hard to do this particular effect at individual letters only to discover shortly afterwards that there's a load of animation presets and I'd be surprised if you couldn't find one that was a good fit for what you were doing or at least very close. I think I nearly did a bit of a cry to be honest (laughing) There you go. So where do these magic things live? What I'm going to do first of all is I'm going to add a text layer. I'm just going to get my horizontal type tool here and just going to set up my paragraph level things center aligned. I think I'll stick with what I've got there in terms of type face at the moment. I'm going to type "A Wizardry Production." Like so. Okay, on there is actually the name of my company that I've got but there you go. Doesn't do much…
