- [Instructor] Now, for reasons which will become clear in just a moment, I've actually already started my new project that we'll need for this chapter, but if you need some guidance in doing that, all we need to do is go to the file menu, to new, and project, and then give it a name, I'm gonna call this one, for example, TeesTools, like so, and then determine a location for it to go, and then everything else here should pretty much be the default, so Mercury Playback Engine, Timecode, Audio Samples, HDV. What I do want to look at are just two small things in this dialog, but that make a massive difference. Scratch disks, if you've gotten more than one disk attached to your machine, and Photoshop uses this same system, it can use attached disks, there are four drives in this machine I could use, for example, to manage memory more efficiently. And Ingest Settings, so you can ingest media, so bring copies in to your project if you turn that on, and you've got various different options…
