- In this chapter, we'll composite the text inside the spinning mixer arms as well as under this dropping knife. Both comps were built using the same principles, so I'll show you the process of the first one, and then recap for the second. We're going to start with this comp shot, 04 and 05. I'm going to double-click on it, and let's go to the top. Once again I'm going to play the footage for you. As you can see from the markers, the first issue that needs our attention is some patching work. Apparently specks of food splashed on the lens while shooting this closeup shot. So, don't attempt to clean your screen. This is part of the video. Alright, I'm going to close the playback. And, in order to fix it, I'm going to use the Clone Stamp tool. Since this tool belongs to the Paint category, or the Paint tools in After Effects, the best way to work here is to change the workspace to the built-in Paint workspace.
