Colorizing background elements

- If you've been following along in the training, you may have noticed that I've been creating graphics that are all primarily black and white. I've done this on purpose to give me a little more flexibility when it comes time to add color to my graphics. While there are several different effects you can use to apply color over black, white, and gray images, I tend to prefer these two: Tint and Tritone. If we look in our 01_04_Colorizing project you'll see I have two compositions: 01_Cell_Grids, and 02_Flowing_Cell_Silk. So, we'll start with 01_Cell_Grids, and I'll just sort of step you through what I've done. Notice I have a layer solid. It's the Deep Blue Solid 2. If you right-click on this solid, you can go ahead and tell it to Reveal the Layer Source in the Project. Notice with that Deep Blue Solid selected, you can see it's 1280 x 720, which just happens to match the same size as my composition.
