- [Instructor] In this chapter, we'll add animation to the tagline at the end of this composition. We'll start by converting the tagline into a live text. This way, we can animate it easily inside After Effects. So, I'm going to pause the playback and press End on my keyboard. This will take me to the end frame over here, and now I can see the element that they need, which is the TAG Layer. So, I'll select it, and note, that currently this is a pixel based layer. If I want to animate each one of the different characters, then I need to convert it to a live text. The way to do it, is to go to the Edit Menu, and choose, "Edit Original." This is going to launch the application that was used to create this file, in our case, Adobe Illustrator. And over there in the Layers Panel, we can actually see that this guy is a live text. So we can select this text from Illustrator and then go to the Edit Menu and copy it to memory.…
