- [Instructor] It's fairly undeniable that InDesign sets a high standard for type design. If that lowers your expectations for the type features in After Effects, you may be pleasantly surprised to learn how much the two applications have in common. My type tool is selected and all you've seen me do so far is type in a bit of white Helvetica text. So this time I'm going to draw out a region. And I will type a title into it and there we have white Helvetica. So if I want to change that, I need to either select the text or deselect and then just select the entire layer whether or not my type tool is enabled. Now, over here we have a character and paragraph panel that are going to look eerily similar, dare I say identical? I'll center the text in paragraph. And then let's choose a different typeface. I can scroll through here and see samples here on the right. I'd like that to be capitalized. And note that I could slice it…
