Creating animated circular graphics
- We all know that one can create some pretty amazing animations and After Effects using shape layers, so in this video, we're actually going to animate some circular shapes using the radio waves effect. If we look in our project, you'll see I've got two comps. Our 01_Circular comp, which is empty, and the 02_Water Molecule comp. If we open the water molecule comp, you can see I've got a water molecule with a pretty bland background. So we're gonna go ahead and create some sort of pulsating circles that'll emanate from the center of our composition. Just so we can focus only on that, let's go to the 01_Circular composition. Go up under Layer, and choose New Solid. Make sure to make your solid the comp size, and I'll choose a color like gray, although you can choose whatever color you like. With the gray solid selected, we can go up under Effects, and go to Generate, and let's go down to Radio Waves. Now, radio waves is kind of an interesting effect. The second you apply it, it's…
