- [Instructor] In this chapter, we'll create the main animation for the logo and its components, starting with a basic transition from one background to the other. So, first, I'm going to change the layer order over here. I want to take the orange background and place it above the off-white, and then I'll move to 2:12, and I'll start this layer over here by dragging this endpoint while holding down shift, and it will snap to the place of the cursor. Now, I want to create a shape layer to help us with this transition. So, I'm going to make sure that nothing is selected by clicking somewhere over here, and then I'll go to the After Effects preferences and visit the general section. I want to make sure that this option over here under the preferences is checked. And this is going to place the anchor point in the center of every new shape that we are going to create from this point onward. So, let's okay this dialogue.…
