Creating a bounce in the value graph

Creating a bounce in the value graph
- [Instructor] Okay, so our ball is hitting the ground with more of a thud. But what we're gonna do is add a little bit of a bounce in there. Now objects will naturally bounce in real life, but we're gonna exaggerate the bounce. Exaggeration is another principle of animation and we're gonna use it here. We're in O3 O4 bounce project, if you have access to the exercise files, you can open that and follow along. So we could create a bounce here, but it's actually easier to create it in the value graphs. We're gonna jump to the value graph, and we're gonna click on auto zoom graph height, if that's not already selected. And you'll see here, we're not moving on the x-axis, only moving on the y-axis. So what we're gonna do to create our bounce is move a couple of frames forward from the end of the thud. And we're gonna just adjust the y-position value. So I'm just gonna scrub that value 'til the ball moves up in the air a little bit, probably about that much. Then we're gonna move ahead…
