- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you a great recipe to create the illusion of liquid text with the help of the displacement map effect. So this is our starting point, we have those two shots back together and on top of them, the moving titles that we've created in the previous movie, and I want to create the illusion that this dripping of honey, the liquid underneath, is actually affecting the text above it. So in order to pull this trick, I'm going to select this layer and I'm going to go to the effects and presets, fold down the distort category, and since it is organized by alphabetic order, I can scroll down and here it is, the displacement map effect. I'm going to double click on it, and in this case it wants to apply itself to the same layer, which doesn't make any sense, so I'm going to change the displacement map layer to use the second shot over here, which are the two main videos. Now the way that this effect works is by defining the displaced channels, in this case…
