Creating the oscilloscope
- [Instructor] An oscilloscope is kind of like a device you use to measure electronic signals and they have a bunch of wavy lines. Sometimes they look like EKGs, like the heart monitors, and so these line are going to be kind of like what we're going to be creating here in this tutorial. I've already made a solid for you and called it oscilloscope, partially because I don't want to try and spell oscilloscope during this tutorial. That's not going to end well for me and I'm going to go ahead and apply Trapcode form. I just went ahead and you could go into the effects and presets panel and just type in form and then you'll see it here under RG Trapcode form, so I'm going to go, double click to apply that with the layer selected, and we noticed here how form completely replaces the layer that it's applied to initially, so we had a black solid, but the black solid is gone and now it's just form here, we can see the…
