Creating the pulse effect using radio waves
- To add more energy to the action, I like to create a pulse animation that will light up under the runner's feet every time he touches the ground. We'll do it in two steps. The first one is to create the pulse effect and then in the following movie, place few copies in the correct places on the video layer. Okay, to create a pulse effect, we'll need a new solid layer. I'm going to hold down command, control on the PC, and press y, this will invoke the new solid settings dialogue and I'm going to name this solid pulse. And I'm going to also change the width and the height to match 1080 by 1080 the color doesn't matter. You can press okay now. Just so we'll concentrate on what we are doing, I'm going to solo this layer and also turn off the visibility for the lights. This way they won't be in our way.
