Creating a seamless still texture
- [Instructor] Textures are a great way to add depth to your animations in After Effects. And in this video, I'm going to show you how to create a seamless texture inside of Photoshop that we can bring into After Effects and animate. So to start, I want you to go to the project panel and open the texture folder. And in there, you'll see stone dot JPEG. I'll go ahead and right-click on that file. And I'll choose reveal in finder or reveal in explorer if you're on Windows. Then I'll right-click directly on the file and choose open with Adobe Photoshop. So inside of Photoshop here, you can see I've got a picture of this granite countertop. And I want this to actually flow horizontally, seamlessly, so it doesn't look like there's a beginning or an end to this.
