Creating swatch groups in Adobe illustrator

- [Narrator] Once you've created a few examples, you can begin saving them as color swatch groups in Illustrator. I'll do that with the bus colors here. I simply select the artwork containing the colors I wish to save, and then, in the swatches panel, I click on the new color group button. When I'm saving these colors, I always make sure to create global colors, and I'll show you why. Let's select the shape here and then click on the edit or apply color group button. We'll look at this in more detail later, but for now I just want to use this feature to apply my bus colors to this group of shapes, and this is a great way of doing it. In here, I can assign the colors of any selected color group to my selected artwork. This is a really useful feature that we'll use again during this project. And notice that the color selection looks really different when using a different distribution of colors. On this shape, there's a larger amount of yellow and less of the green color. Experimenting…
