Creating the textures with Fractal Noise, part 2
Now let's go ahead and apply the fractal noise effect to our smoky solid. Let's go ahead and change the fractal type to again, dynamic twist. We're going to create kind of like a smoky texture here. Let's not invert this. Let's keep the, or increase the contrast to 150. Take the brightness down to -40. That's already kind of looking kind of smoky a bit. Let's open up transform and increase the scale to 300. And let's give this a little bit more complexity. With this zoomed in here, you're really going to be able to see this. I'm going to increase complexity to 9.6. And as I do, look at all the detail that comes into this texture here. Again, 9.6. Now if I just jump to where we, we were, Now if I just jump to where we, we were, let's say 5, a little even lower. 5 here, and then we jump back to 9.6. What a difference that makes in the quality of the detail of the texture here. Now kind of like we did in the last tutorial,…
